At West Herts Amateur Boxing and Educational Support CIC, we are proud to partner with secondary schools in and around Watford and the Hertfordshire area. Our aim is to work collaboratively with schools to support their most disadvantaged and high-aspiring students, helping them reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.
We understand the importance of physical activity in fostering personal growth, resilience, and well-being. That’s why we provide tailored practical sessions—whether as part of the regular PE curriculum or as a reward for students showing dedication and progress. These sessions serve as a positive outlet, helping young people channel their energy, develop essential life skills, and build confidence in a safe, supportive environment.
Our partnership with schools is rooted in a shared commitment to raising aspirations, promoting healthy lifestyles, and instilling values such as discipline, respect, and perseverance. We work alongside teachers and school staff to complement their efforts—creating opportunities for students to succeed, enjoy sport, and learn important lessons about teamwork, leadership, and resilience.

Supporting Children with Special Needs
Our programs have proven especially beneficial for students with diverse needs, including those with ADHD, autism, and dyspraxia. Many of these children face challenges in traditional learning environments, but through sport, they find a different way to excel. We have seen children with attention deficits develop remarkable hand-eye coordination, agility, and strength—unlocking their hidden talents and boosting their confidence.
Some of these students are incredibly gifted in areas that may not be immediately obvious, but sport provides them with a platform to shine. Whether it’s their speed, coordination, or resilience, we give all children a sporting chance to discover and develop their unique qualities—helping them grow in self-belief and unlock their full potential.
By opening our doors to schools, we aim to enhance the educational experience, provide meaningful extracurricular activities, and inspire children and young people to aim high—both academically and personally. Together, we are helping to shape a future where every young person has the opportunity to thrive and reach their dreams.
